The last couple of episodes seem to have had a lot of background with not much enlightenment.
I thought the episode on Jay would be a crucial one since much of the case depends on him but apart from a better portrait there isn't much that informs how we are meant to be taking his testimony.
And as some of interviewees indicate in this episode we need to look at what the motive of Hae's murder might have been. Neither Jay nor Anand seem to have a reason to have killed Hae but the testimony of Jay's friends back up a version of his account of events (given the caveat that the detective points out that people tend to shape their confessions).
