When VCs complain about cost of living in Silicon Valley, it means something. Everyone here feels it and we all complain about it and discuss it online but nothing gets done.
I joked (mostly) about people in Silicon Valley doing a flash move and we would all pick up stuff and leave for a nearby town but much better housing prices.
I mean, it's the people. There's no magic fountain of unicorn here. It's the ecosystem of entrepreneurs and funders and universities.
What if we all one day decided to pack up and exodus. Which town would that be? Truckee?
