So when booking a hotel, esp on short notice, without Internet, always ask for price on phone as against walking in and inquiring. Even if you are right outside.
This is because on phone you can inquire dozens of hotels and they know that, so they offer more competitive prices, where as in walk in, they know that you are kind of not going to just walk out after hearing a price. (that also makes you look "cheap", so thats another factor).
When trying to overcome jetlag, you can fight it or you can yield to it. To fight you live local time life style, and to yield you continue to live foreign life style. Fighting is harder, but it should yield faster recovery, where as yielding is easier but takes more time.
Both intelligence and creativity are about taking a situations/scenario and coming up with few options, and analyzing them. The moment you stop coming up with options is the time you lose intelligence/creativity.
