Blackmagic Design has done some pretty ground breaking things in the past couple of years. In addition, they've managed to piss a lot of people off by promising much and screwing up the execution and delivery of both of their 2 and 4k cinema cameras.
If they do this one right, they'll basically have the world by the short and curlies, but I'm not holding my breath... This is the holy grail IMHO, amazing features, dynamic range, versatility AND modular design.
