Let's go back to our simple 120 bpm quarter notes in 4/4.

We have:

G = 2

B = 2

τ = 2.0 (120 bpm 4/4 = 2 seconds per measure)

and:

Tm = τ(m - 1)

T*g = (τ / G)(g - 1)

T**b = (τ / (GB))(b - 1)
