How do you know how good you are at something? There seem to be two extremes: * Impostor syndrome (thinking you're terrible at it when actually you're OK or even good) * Dunning-Kruger syndrome (thinking you're great at it when you're terrible at it) Obviously this is an over-simplification. People in the latter category get a lot of hate, but I actually think it's a much better place to be. Don't make excuses. 3. "I am a terrible person" is not a valid root cause.
